Bill utilizes his experience with organizations, especially the church organization, his understanding of Family Systems, and his expertise in group dynamics, to provide church consultation for church growth, visioning, or resolution of conflictual issues.
Comments about Bill's consultation during a critical time in the life of one congregation:
"The congregation's leadership (and hence the congregation's life) became healthier as a result of the process Rev. Bill Selby led with a group of church members. Persons were encouraged to not only reflect on who they were as a child of God but also how they related to others in the congregation. Having a better understanding of who we were and the dynamics of congregational life allowed our leaders to lead with greater confidence and clarity. And in the process: a greater openness to God's call upon our lives as individuals and as a community of faith allowed us to strengthen present ministries and engage in some new ministries." Rev. Cindy Karges, Former Senior Pastor, Grace UMC, Hastings NE and presently District Superintendent for the Great Plains Annual Conference
"I was really amazed and astounded in all of the best ways. Your work with us was the most powerful group work in which I have ever been involved. All of us feel a huge transformation and shift in direction in freedom, unity, clarity, and peacefulness. It was just a relief to have an identification of the dynamics that trap us and how to operate and stay centered. Wow! What a gift! From all of us, earnest thanks."Richard Lyon, United Methodist Clergy, Aspen, Colorado
